The challenge

Bouwinvest is committed to developing Paris-proof portfolios by maximising energy efficiency using the leading standards of the WEii protocol of DGBC. Their Dutch office fund contains multi-tenant and mixed-use assets. Each of these spaces should be future-proof and contribute to the well-being of its stakeholders. hello energy provides a tool for Bouwinvest to create more awareness by:

The solution

Engagement with tenants is crucial to Paris-proof buildings. They are demanding more insights on their own energy consumption, but are also more willing to commit to sustainability goals if they know how they can contribute. hello energy offers smart software that makes these insights more visual, understandable and creates a joint awareness among stakeholders with an interactive tool. The results

With hello energy, Bouwinvest has the tools to create an instant dialogue with their stakeholders based on real-time data of their (office) buildings. We also jointly conducted a partner study among building visitors to measure the impact of our real estate engagement tool. It turns out that:

79% of the building occupants stated they are willing to participate in the sustainability initiatives of the building.

45% of the building occupants stated they felt activated to behave more sustainabily in the building.

45% of the building occupants had the impression that they were in an energy-efficient building.

Ook hebben we gezamenlijk een partneronderzoek uitgevoerd onder gebouwbezoekers om de impact van onze real estate engagement tool te meten. Het blijkt dat:

79% van de gebouwgebruikers geeft aan bereid te zijn om deel te nemen aan de duurzaamheidsinitiatieven van het gebouw.

45% van de gebouwgebruikers geeft aan zich geactiveerd te voelen om zich duurzamer te gedragen in het gebouw.

45% van de gebouwgebruikers had de indruk zich in een energiezuinig gebouw te bevinden.
