Trellis House, located in Washington D.C., is comprised of 319 residential units. It offers an escape from the busy DC life with amenities such as a rooftop hydroponic garden and collaborative workspaces featuring private offices. A dense, pedestrian development, it is rich in transportation options and community resources with easy access to employment and recreational areas. Bicycle storage is provided to the residents to encourage use of alternative transport 🚴

The project was designed to save over 21% more energy than the baseline building and utilise 30% less water – the first multifamily mid-rise LEED Platinum-certified project in the Washington D.C. market 🏆

What else does Trellis do to reduce its impact?

🚰 Very high-efficiency plumbing fixtures and fittings (surpassing building code standards by 30%).

♻️ Environmentally preferable material choices (low-emitting, locally sourced, high recycle content).

🌬️ Enhanced fresh air ventilation providing residents clean, healthy fresh air.
