Centennial Place | Calgary, Canada

Centennial Place

With stunning views of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, this office building is a mountainous achievement of sustainability itself! ⛰️

Centennial Place is a masterful landmark located in the city of Calgary, Alberta. Situated northwest of the downtown area, the building’s two towers have raised the standard for sustainable office architecture and design. It achieves a high level of connectivity with the city, linking to both existing commercial infrastructure and residential neighbourhoods.

Centennial Place is one of the largest commercial LEED Gold developments in Canada, achieving LEED Gold certification for Core and Shell as well as LEED Platinum for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance 🏆 Its two towers (one of 40 storeys and the other 24 storeys) offer up to 97,000 sqm of office space, featuring a high-performance glazed façade that minimises solar intake and heat gain. Rainwater collection, grey water reuse for irrigation, high efficiency motors as well as occupancy sensors are additional design tools that further make use of the building’s structural form to create healthy and well-functioning interior environments, while minimising energy demand.

Centennial Place is amenity-rich, offering convenient shops and other services, along with relaxing common areas flooded by natural daylight. Thanks to the intelligent design and efforts of the various stakeholders involved, Centennial Place is a shining exemplar of cutting-edge office design for the conscious employer.

An incredible accomplishment by all of the people involved in the making of this beauty! #buildingheroes
