Release notes June
Do you want to engage your building users on the topic of sustainability? Would you like to involve your tenants and occupants in your efforts to go to net zero carbon? This month, hello energy brings an exciting new release that will help you to start the conversation with your building users.
Introducing the hello energy community
Buildings are an important part of our lives. We live in them, work in them, spend our free time in them, exercise in them.. well, you get the point. Just as buildings are part of daily life, sustainability is becoming more important. Research from Forbes shows us that 77% of people would like to learn more about how to live more sustainably.
We can also see this in the real estate world where an increasing amount of tenants say that they care about the sustainability of a building.
To facilitate a conversation around sustainability, hello energy introduces the hello community. An open community that will revolve around the conversation regarding sustainability. People will be inspired by interesting tips, fun facts and articles created by both hello energy and other members of the community.
This release will contain the first version of this community. In future releases, we will build upon this and also create building-specific communities and more ways to share and create content.
The sustainability QR
Would you like to inspire your building visitors with your sustainability ambitions or the facilities in the building? If you are using the hello energy narrowcasting, you can already communicate with people inside the building to inform and inspire them.
This release we will add a new tool to our inspiration toolbox; the QR for narrowcasting. With the QR you can take the conversation to the next level. The QR can contain any web address and is, therefore, the ideal tool to communicate a wide variety of things. Do you want to share your latest sustainability report, your net zero commitment or more practical things like a floorplan? Just set up the QR code to make this information easily accessible.
All new tips & tip slide for narrowcasting
We already inspired building users all over the world with tips and fun facts about sustainability. One of the ways of communicating these tips is by presenting them on screens in buildings through hello energy for narrowcasting.
In this release, we’ve updated our random tip slide with a few new options. Not only will we show more tips, but we will also give the option to building users to submit their own tips. By scanning the QR code they will be redirected to the hello community where they can submit their own tip or story. The best of these contributions can also be shown on the screen in your own building or in buildings all over the world!
