It has a total of 35,000 m2 of floorspace, equivalent to the size of 26 Olympic swimming pools. ICC Sydney includes three world-class venues, with each building having its own unique architectural style – ranging from "the cool reflective style of the convention centre, to the warm natural features of the exhibition centre, and the vibrant energy of the theatre" (Populous).Its sustainable achievements are numerous, but here's just a glimpse:📟 Highly efficient Central Energy Plant and building management systems.⚡ Australia’s largest EV charging station for 25 vehicles.☀️ A community funded solar array, the nation’s largest in a CBD, providing 5% of the venue’s energy – enough to power 100 homes!♻️ 91% of construction waste was diverted from landfill by recycling both on and offsite. 25% of demolition waste was recycled on the site, with resulting materials reused as road base.“This achievement really reflects the depth of our international sustainability capabilities.
